Absolutely. What a waste of energy and resources of their staff to put that shit together, and of four minutes of the show to air it.

I actually have to change the channel when they put that shit on, I flip to the first thing I can, even if it's a commercal for corn.

Can someone stuff Chris Berman's face with a rag? Goddammit I can't stand him. He's like Dick Vitale, but at least Dick is fun and out of breath all the time.

Hey, what other channel is going to show you every single Duke basketball game scheduled this year? I swear, they show every . . . single . . . Duke . . . basketball . . . game. God, please make them stop.

I usually rip espn but gotta give credit for the nice chuckle they gave me tonight. They cut to Randall-El with Michael Irvin on that makeshift field they run fake plays on. Randall-El says something along the lines of "come see how I make my QB look good", and then throws a short pass to Irvin, who stops and poses like he just made the best catch of the year.

They then cut back to Sportscenter and the announcer immediately says "thats like a 3 yard pass." all sarcastically without even being on camera.

ESPN has even fucked over its second best show (behind cheap seats), stump the schwab, by putting on espn classic at noon during the week, and having stewart scott host it. He is by far the most annoying man on tv, maybe behind ryan seacrest, but thats it.

I've seen 3-4 in the past week or two, and none have been ones i have seen before, and some of the questions have to do with things that happened in 2005. So, i think it is.

Steven A. Smith, great question to Brian Cashman on the "teaser" for tonight's show. "Brian, CAN the YANKEES get back to the WORLD series?!?!"

a. "yes, thats our goal"

Great stuff right there.

I love reading his articles when they don't have the racial (and easy) angle.

The question I posted was flat out idiotic. What kind of answer did he expect?

The only shows I still enjoy on ESPN are Pardon the Interruption, Around the Horn, and sometimes Gameday College Football. And sadly, that's about it.

I use to enjoy Cold Pizza but they moved that to a later start in the morning. So now, I'm unable to watch it.

There was a time during which Sportscenter during breakfast was an absolutely integral part of my day. The anchors were funny and original, and provided as much entertainment as the clips themselves. Hell, I even liked Stuart Scott back then. All right, maybe not, but I liked Rich Eisen, and tolerated Stuart Scott when he was on.

What I'd like to know is this: Where did all of the good anchors go, when did they get new, cardboard clones of them, and when did Dan Patrick turn into such a pompous dickhead? I can't even watch the 6 o'clock Sportscenter because just seeing him pisses me off.

Does anyone remember when ESPN was first on cable? It was the official rodeo channel. I could do without the paintball, but...

I was going to watch that to make fun of it but I forgot. :(

It probably doesn't compare to Darts on FSN though.

I actually saw some of the Rock Paper Scissors Tourney last night. I was shocked when I first saw it. I still can't tell if I was supposed to take it seriously or not.

There were clips with "expert tips" and back stories on some of the participants. It was very surreal.

That has to be the most retarded thing I have ever heard of. I mean, playing Rock, Paper, Scissors is like flipping a coin. What skill is involved in picking one of three random things that loses to one of the others, beats one of the others and ties one of the others?
