Davo is going to love this one.

By the way, Oklahoma's QB's are embarassingly bad. If they played that bad against the 117th ranked pass D (dead fucking last), they are going to get shredded by the Big 12.

Cal, their defense didn't play great, but their QB's routinely missed wide open receivers. They could have easily won that game if they had a competant QB. I don't think I've ever seen worse play out of two quarterbacks in a college game on TV in my life... ever.

Between this and the USC and Texas blowouts, today was a very, very good day for college football.

ok, i'm the resident ou nut, so here goes:

it was that bad. there were a few goodspots. one, nobody died. two, bomar stunk kind of, but he didn't play enough to really be included as an equal partner in the suckfest. there's not a three.

I hope Bomar flames out. That kid and his dad sound like first class pricks from everything I've read. Texas tried hard to get him to come but I'm pretty glad in hindsight we didn't get him. Maybe he'll prove me wrong eventually.

OU lost so many players on both sides of the ball to used up eligibility (notice I didn't say graduation :D ) they were bound to be down. But with all of the losses they had in preseason to injuries and at least one starter leaving the team they could be real down (4-5 losses) this year.

If we (Texas) don't beat them this year Greg Davis will almost certainly lose his job, which is almost something I could root for, but we owe these guys a serious ass whipping, considering 5 straight losses with a 63-14 and 65-13 mixed in there.

not that this should matter, since most of the lost players now make a salary in the NFL, but for your amusement, here:

Also, since Bomar was just named the starter this week it's hard to imagine that being a flame out. I'm sure you're very happy to have Colt McCoy instead of Bomar.

I remember about ten years ago when the 49ers were having a pretty bad first half of the season. Steve Young was down and they had been having a tough time with Elvis at the helm. They dropped two or three straight to the worst teams in the NFL and arrived at Dallas hobbled. The 'Boys had routed everyone they played that season. I remember being so overjoyed about that game, rubbing my hands anticipating the riotous rout of revenge for getting beat up in the previous championship.

After the first quarter, the 49ers led by nearly thirty.

Even as a Red Raider I'll go for UT, but it'll be another Oklahoma stampede for sure.

I was at this godawful vomit-inducing football game.

The only good thing that kept me there until the end was Xanax and Vodka.

I wouldn't be handing the RR Shootout to the 'Horns just yet. These things are never gimmes, trust me I've seen too many Auburn-Alabama, Florida-FSU matchups go awry over just this sort of talk.
