well hes gonna end up somewhere, and he just worke dout fo rthe Lions today and both sides seem happy....the lions are aware he wants around 6 million a year and have told him they will organize some stuff financially and make him a good offer tomorrow...Tuesday.
My main question is this...are there any teams that Ty Law could really push over the edge. I think if the Lions sign him and he returns to healthy form, they will be a top 2 or 3 favorite to win the NFC......or is that a bit ridiculous?
i cant say anything bad about ty, hes a hometown kid who always seems grounded when i have seen him out and about. healthy is one thing, but wasnt his surgery on his ankle?
if so, thats going to be tough to come back to any semblence of his old form

gotta love a michigan boy!
unfortunatley, signing him will still not make the lions a contender.

i knew it was a matter of time, and i know even if i throw out a bunch of support for my case it wont matter, so we may as well just lock this
Why? Because of the Naysayers? A secondary With Bly, Law, McQuarters, Kennedy, Holt, Cash and Smith ( i bet bryant is gone if they get law) is amoungst the best in the NFL. Best young recieving corps, solid young OL, Top DT in the game, Incredible speed at LB, a young game breaking runner, amazing return game... the only question is Joey Ballgame- and i have hope for him... but with the weapons around him, Garcia should be able to get them into the playoffs.

my case was... and Olin with Demulling, Woody, Backus and Raiola along with the leading rusher among teh final 8 weeks (when he was finally healthy)...Harrington threw for 3000 yard and 19 TD and 12 INT..when i can tel you 2 TD's that were dropped by Alexander and Roy Williams....but his main Recieveing Core due to injuries last year consisted of Scotty Vines, Tai Streets and limping Roy Williams and David Kircus...with Stephen Alexander at TE, Bryant and Bly were only on teh field at the same time a handful of games.....Bailey didnt play at all, Brock Marion and Bracey Walker started at Safety...now it looks like itll be Kennedy and Mcquarters or Holt.....They wil be adding Mike Wiliams, Boss Bailey, Charles Rogers, Marcus pollard, Kenoy Kennedy, Demulling, a healthy Jones and Williams, Kevin Johnsons for depth at WR McQuarters for depth in teh secondary, and Harringotn has improved his stats every year for 3 years with Scotty Vines and David Kircus as two recievers.......they have so much brand new talent coming in its ridiculous...if they stay healthy, they are a playoff lock.

if they have stephen alexander at tight end i change my mind.
The Broncos have him now.
And one of my bold predictions was that the Lions would snag a wild card berth--with or without Law, either Harrington or Garcia starting. There's so much talent and potential on that team.
