Baseball - Rice/Texas
Tennis - Baylor U - 2004 NCAA Champs
High School/College Football - I think there's some kind of legacy there
Pro Football - Dallas has 5 SB's... how many does your team have?
Golf - Have you seen me and js play?
Hockey - The Stars would be winning the cup this year, but I think something happened
College/Pro Baksetball - Spurs, what? Mavs? Texas University? Texas Tech? Bobby Knight came here?

And our women are pretty good looking too

I don't know, Texans have won 3 of the last 5 presidential elections, not too shabby!

I'll take my state's high school football with 11 men vs. Texas' with 6 men any day . . .

Am I missing something? The following teams could beat the shit out of any Illinois high school football team you bring to the table: Lufkin, Converse Judson, Midland, Midland Lee, Galina Park North Shore, The Woodlands, Southlake Carroll, Tyler Lee, Cedar Park, San Antonio Taft...

Me and my buddy were talking about this... if there was an alumni game where all of the best pro and college players still playing game back and played together on their old high school teams, Texas teams would win, with some challenge from Florida and Cal, but I'm confident Texas would be the most impressive... but Illinois? Gimme a break...

We're leaning on the college baseball teams there... which is more impressive than buying talent and winning a championship anyways...

And guys like Tex Schramm and Tom Landry are classier than anybody that's stepped foot in a 49ers press box... Jerry Jones is an asshole though... if you want to kill him and his son for me, that'd be great...

Buying talent? I wasn't aware A-Rod, Chan Ho Park, Raffy, and Wetteland were home grown Rangers?

Rangers tried several times to "buy talent" over the years.

Regarding Tom Landy, ever read North Dallas Forty?

I hope y'all know this was never supposed to be serious... just a rouse...

And yes, I've read North Dallas Forty, and Landry is still one of the classiest coaches to ever patrol the sidelines...

But I still think a college championship is more impressive than one in the bigs

If Florida is America's wang, then Texas is America's nutsack.

Yeah, winning public opinion over IS much more impressive than winning it on the field.

unfortunately, most baseball fans don't even know how the college W.S. works.

And the aluminum bat doesn't exactly seam all that pure to me.
