Good lord........... ok i understand he was hurt for a short amount of time. And yes he's in a different spot with the Mets. But this guy has to be the biggest fantasy bust of the season. This guy going into the season was a top 3 fantasy player. 1 stolen base??!?!??!?!?!!?!?!?!!??!?!?!?! thanks carlos... you were officially the worst "keeper" in my league this year (soo glad i kept you). Once upon a time you were the complete player, but now with millions you are...... ?????

Don't worry... about a month ago Harold Reynolds announced to the world that Eric Chavez was a fantasy bust (he's on my team) and must be traded right away becuase he'd do nothing all year, and in the past couple of weeks he's been tearing that shit up. I agree that right now Beltran is busting, but I have no doubts that he's going to pick it up. No doubts.

I wouldn't say he's a "bust", but I definitely thought he would be better.

i know there have been several busts... but when i'm talking about keepers that is either 1 or 2 guys (1st & 2nd round guys). if you kept Boone..... I mean Beltre you deserve to suffer. Clearly it was a steroid year, he was never gonna put up the numbers he had the year before ever again. Manny isn't having the normal year, but hardly would I call his numbers a bust (besides his avg which is awful).
my other top bust would be.....
thome
helton
schmidt
outside of that injuries have caused busts (schilling, vlad, rolen)...
my 2nd keeper was rolen by the way this year.......... after this year it will be cabrera and peavy though

I'd say it was more a case of it being a CONTRACT year, not a "steroid year".

Mitch, I'll kick you in the nuts if you don't take that trade.
2 utterly dominating starters for 1 really good one and 1 really good OF. Unless you'd have a massive hole in the OF, take that goddamn trade. Even so, take that trade and pickup someone on waivers, there's good OF's out there.

ok well update:
my keepers as of now will be Pujols (got in a trade for burnett and peavy, also received mulder in the trade, it was to a 2nd place team (i'm in 8th) he needed pitching to make the final push for first and had texiera and soriano to keep still) and now i have to decide between m. cabrera and ortiz for my final keeper....
and beltran has turned it up a bit, and berkman is also on FIRE right now (who i also have). unfortunately all this is too little too late at this point. just looking to next year now!
.... and i have bonderman on my team too... i think everyone mentioned in this damn thread i have on my team
