I didnt see a thread for this and its always interesting.

I just hope the Tigers just cut Troy Percival and try to shop Rondell White and Jason Johnson.

I would start my own Troy Percival thread but i fear no one cares about my tigers.

The phillies need to dump Jim Thome NOW, while he at least has a little value left.

Any american league team who needs a DH will do, especially if they offer up some pitchers.

ya think the tigers should cut percival? i disagree, but to each his own.

i hope the rangers deal for an arm without having to give up kinsler, arias, botts, diamond, danks, or volquez.

I forgot to add, each post must thrash Percival at least once, thanks Cal

Yes, Thome needs to go and make room for Howard from what i see.....i heard Wagner might get shopped seeing a show he refuses to resign with them, and the worst part is i heard Wagner to the White Sox

Percival seriously blows ass, he cant throw the heat he used to and has blown at least 5 saves in maybe 10 opportunities, has an era, now after 10 minutes ago, of prolly close to 6.....id say let Farnsworth give it a go, hes been amazing this year.

if you look at percival's year, he's only had about 3 horrible games. not bad.

and if the tigers cut him they still have to pay percival.

well, maybe i have too high of standards but i counted 7 games that were unacceptable..i kno its not as bad as othe rguys but its frustrating when you sign this guy and he doesnt do what hes suppossed to.

The Orioles.

Jorge Julio and Larry Bigbie for any decent pitcher.

No ones taking percival with another year at 6 mil on his contract... although i wouldnt be surprised to see Farnsworth moved into the closers role. Isnt his ERA under 2 now?

Who would have though that the shitty pitcher amoungst:German, Walker, Farnsworth, Spurling, Percival and Rodney would be...

Percival. Who would have thought the tigers could afford to trade 2 closers in one year, and still have a solid bullpen.

and i do think Jason Johnson is a very under the radar tradeable guy- hes in the last year of his contract, and has really only had two bad starts this year, in a pitching poor market.

Possibly traded tigers
Pena
Johnson
Polonco

Guys that CAN NOT be traded. Verlander, Bonderman, Shelton.

You and I think alike.

Well Pena is tearing up AAA and looks to be ready to return soon, which makes Young expendable with Shelton to DH...Rondel White needs to go, but Polanco MUST resign, if they dont sign polanco they dont want to win next year.

I would think maybe Johnson and White/Young and a prospect and cash to FLA for Burnett would be sexy.

I would also love having the Tigers make a run at Corey Patterson....the outfield of Maggs, Pattersona nd Monroe could be awesome

Yeah, i forgot about White, i imagine he'll go.
Infante is a solid ballplayer- i like polanco- and is presense seems to have lit a fire under infante's ass. Id only deal him if i was getting a hell of a player in return.

I would love to deal Young, but i think being the "oliver miller" of baseball will make it tough. The man is eating himself out of the league--- and hes a fucking DH.

and i doubt the Cubs will deal Patterson to the Tigers after they got absolutely fleeced on the Farnsworth deal.

PS. I also think Shelton is developing at 1B, and could be a fixture there- i dont think he needs to DH.
