i'll just go ahead and gets this out of the way before football season starts and i get my ass handed to me. i am a bucs fan!! even though i hail from the carolinas i'm still a bucs fans. it all started when i was 10 years old. i was living in jacksonville fla at the time and my dad was a HUGE dolphins fan. with him it was marino this and marino that.i hated the fins! i was just getting into football then and just to piss him off i started pulling for the bucs. and man did it piss him off! and it just stuck with me even as i got older. so i am a proud bucs fan through thick and thin.i've had my share bumps and bruises with them but i still stand by them and i can't wait to see cadillac play in that uniform. i even still have my old steve young jersey in the peach and white. sorry if this took too much of your time reading this. i just had to throw this out there.

I am also a huge tampa fan. living in philly. picture that.

around 1986, my grandparents moved to right outside tampa, so when i was a kid, they always gave me tampa stuff for christmas and birthdays. i have like 5 boxes in my basement filled with stuff that has the old logo.

when they won the super bowl it was the best feeling in the world. seeing a team who was the laughing stock of football hoist the lomardi trophy. and for me, the best part was they beat Philly IN Philly to make it there (i have the whole game on tape :P ).

i'm not really into football that much anymore, but i still do and will always love the Bucs.

i bet every person who would bet me that thought the eagles were going to win. and believe me, up here it was 99% of the population. then they all pretty much said "double or nothing" on the super bowl.

yeah, i definitely had enough to buy a new computer and 2 new tv's.

its a shame they way the team has crumbled since then, though.

i still like gruden though, and i'm hoping chris simms turns into a decent qb.

i think simms will do fine as long as the line does a good job.but every body else seems to have gotten big-headed since winning the big one.

I may get laughed at, but I think Gruden will build the Bucs to be contenders again within 2-3 years.

I would rather have the team that I love be competitive year in and year out than have a fluke championship to be proud of.

I'd point out your bias in this statement as an Eagles fan, but I'm a Broncos fan, so I can't say anything that regard.

i think he did a great job with having them get the new stadium built, (which if you've never been too is definitely a sight to be seen!), and next year or so they'll have a new state of the art training facillity which will be the envy of the NFL, and his charity foundation has raised alot of money and done some good around the tampa/st. pete area and even around the clearwater area. but with that said i dont think he should have ever bought manchester united!! he should have just left that one alone. i'm 99.9% sure that the next time he goes to england he better have the secret service with or something b/c those brits are'nt happy with him right now and you know shit happens sometimes.
