Two of the best announcers in baseball folks. Before, I was a big Sean McDonough fan, but he's moved on. If you don't have NESN....it's your fault and you won't know what we're talking about but I laughed my ass off the other night when they were making fun of the 100th pitch, win a cobalt contest. They could barely speak for 5 minutes. Share your love for the rem -dawg!!

I watch Friday games just to listen to them mock that Cobalt contest. They almost had it this week, missed by two pitches. I thought it was hilarious Remy was calling for a recount. I like the fact they don't take themselves too seriously and have no problem making fun of each other all game.

anyone remember last year when the camera caught remy smoking a butt in the booth. it was hillarious he ducked down real quick under the desk and don kept asking what he was doing and why he was down there.

I did not see that, but that right there is why I love them. Most announcers would pretend nothing was going on, Don calls Remy out on it. I love when Don busts Remy's balls about his "hair system". I also like Wally and his adirondack chair.

I tune in every day for Remy's life with dolls.

The best thing about Jerry is that he wasn't a great ballplayer, but he played with some awesome players and a few Hall of Famers. He's not full of himself like some other former ballplayers who are broadcasters (looks in McCarver's direction), he makes fun of himself all the time. He knows so much about the game and is a joy to listen to. Orsillo is a fine compliment. Neither of them hog the mic and they love to have a good time.

I do miss the days of the Inane Banter Alarm for Remy and Sean, but I love what we have now.

Oh, and how about a little love for the studio team? Jim Rice, Gary DiDiSarcina (MALDEN WHAT!), Sam Horn, Johnny V every once in a while...I'm not a fan of Tom Caron, never really have been. I get absolutely sick of him because he does the B's pregame too. I didn't miss him last winter, and I'm not looking forward to a year full of him to come.

I get sick of TC too, Sox pre-post game overload. I lost it the other night after the 100th pitch was a strikeout looking, I forgot who it was, but Remmy said they should change the contest to "If the batter even thinks about swinging, you win a cobalt." Hilarious. Last night wasn't so funny though :?
