The Kid is back baby.

He's been having a good season... not that I'm surprised... this talent never went anywhere, his injuries just made us forget about it.

i wouldnt say hes on that much of a "tear". hes been quietly consistent all year.

He has good numbers this year and has been healthy.

AVG .292 | HR 29 | RBI 85

If only he would have been healthy his whole career. He would have broke the homerun record so easy. He's 35 now and has 530 homeruns and say he hits 10 more this year, which would put him at 540. He'd have to hit 43 homes the next five years to make 755. I would love to see him do it, but there's no way he will. I never want to see Bonds make it to 755 I hate his ass but I would love to see Griffey do it.

It's great to see Griffey healthy and playing well once again.

If he DHs in the AL he still has a shot at Aaron. He's a timebomb in the outfield.

same here, i always hated seeing him get hurt year after year because so many people to that as an excuse to say he was no good, he went from the best player in baseball for 10 years to being considered over rated and no good. i hope he stays healthy the rest of his career and reclaims his spot as one of the all time greats

I can't think of another athlete that fell so far, so fast. I really hope that this happens...but I'm not counting on it. Without question, he'll always be my favorite baseball player, and it would be great if he were able to reclaim the spotlight. I just think he may have lost too many years at this point, and who's to say that he doesn't get hurt again tomorrow?

a centerfield/rightfield combo of griffey and ichiro would be pretty nice.

i like the guy for the fact he took less cash to play at home,granted he still got millions but at the time he could have demanded much much more.

I heard a rumor watching the Yankees and White Sox game two nights ago, that Griffey could end up in Chicago before the season is over.

Yeah, my dad asked me yesterday if Griffey was gonna play when we go see the M's play CWS next week...that was the first I heard of it, and I was very surprised by the question.
