I was curious if anyone has heard anything about any news on the status of the NYSCC possibly to be built on the West Side. Was this on the ballot yesterday in nyc for the election? I know in order for everything to fall in line, they need to start construction in spring of 05.

I don't think it was. There is a lot of pushback that is being funded by the evil Dolan's. I would be surprised if they ever get it built.

I really dont think it will get built either, but right now, it should be ready for the 2009 season (if it gets built). And my girlfriend is on the wait list for Jets Season tickets, which she should be getting by the 2008 season, so, hopefully, we will be getting some kick ass seats in an amazing stadium...if it gets built.
