as bad as he is, he's still an upgrade over Felix Escalona.

Mark Bellhorn isn't an upgrade over anyone...he had 3 good games last postseason, and he'll always be remembered for it in Beantown, but the dude sucks

Regardless of how bad you think he is, he's better than Escalona (and Womack). Just look at the numbers.

haven't seen Escalona or Womack's numbers,
you're kidding!
trust me, they shouldn't even be in the major leagues. Bellhorn has a higher OBP than both of them.

Bellhorn .216 BA, 7 HR (that seems high) 28 RBI (that does too), .328 OBP, 109 K's in 283 AB's
outside of the home runs, I really don't see it being that much of an upgrade, though Bellhorn is very good at turning the double play
Ignore the batting average and look at the OBP.
And please don't say Bellhorn's isn't that much better than Escalona. Felix only has 12 AB's on the season, and has a career OBP of .250 in 200 career AB's. This isn't even a debate.

you guys are actually fighting over who is better: bellhorn or womack or escalona? isn't that like arguing would you rather have a needle stuck in your eye or a punch in the balls...none of them are an ideal second baseman.
