A really fucking terrible football game.

I mean, this year was just absolutely horrid. Last year from what I hear was an extremely sloppy affair. And two years ago was a HUGE blowout by a TERRIBLE A&M team.

So why is it that this combination of teams makes for terrible football time and time again?

I have no idea, but Baylor has been shooting themselves in the foot for years. I'm glad they're getting it all out of their system now, because they're starting to improve. You can't tell me Baylor would have challenged A&M two years in a row 5-10 years ago. The defense shut down Reggie, they just couldn't capitalize on offense.

I'm telling you, when Sean Bell gets the hell out of Waco and we get a REAL quarterback for the first time since the 80's, we're going to get some serious Big 12 wins. Until then, we're not going to win anymore than 4 or 5 games in a season.

After the Texas State debacle last week, I was fucking nervous the entire game. We pulled it out in the end, but we just didn't look like ourselves out there, on either side of the ball, except for short spurts in the 2nd half.

It's scary that you would have creamed us if not for our red zone defense.

Yeah, to the tune of 30+ points...

It's nothing new though. Baylor has been playing sloppy football since Grant Teaff left in the early 90's. It's slowly improving, but these are things that come with rebuilding. I'm just more impressed that we did all of this in Kyle Field and shut up the A&M crowd for 3 quarters.

Oh you didn't shut us up. You scared the hell out of us, but you didn't shut us up.

If anything, it was a bit hotter than we had expected and it drained us a bit.

It was even worse than you think.

All the commentators could talk about was how quiet the stadium was in the 3rd and most of the 4th quarter.

They obviously weren't paying attention or somehow forgot that we don't actually yell while we're on offense.
