Pretty awesome, ain't it?
the problem was that the lady was there with me, and to access the field you had to jump a fence... i told her she could follow me onto the field or wait for me at Gate 3... she chose the latter... i actually made it to the kicker at midfield and slapped his helmet... then i about lost all air to my lungs and decided to catch a breather... i went to the endzone and grabbed a handful of baby blue grass, then went to meet the mrs.... i have the grass at home in a little jar... a nice lil keepsake... first time the heels had ever beaten a top 5 team, and it made it all the better that it was a great game and a powerhouse like miami

I hopped a fence with about a 12 foot dropoff below it. I landed really hard, but I just kept trucking and hit about 10 players' shoulder pads... I think I hugged the head coach, I don't really remember. I did get to jump on the goalposts though.

being a student at FSU, I had a hell of a time last night. Great football game but we are going to need a serious lift in our passing game, the D is fine, damn good, running game is solid as well, but passing oh, it is ugly.

Yeah, that offensive line looked really good.

Your contempt for Philly fans aside, that offensive line was TERRIBLE last night.
Exactly, how were they the better TEAM last night? Their O-line was pathetic, their Special teams sucked. Their D looked good but it was against a QB who shouldn't even start for Temple at this point. Neither of those teams looked like top 25 teams last night.

they were on the road. they outgained fsu by about 140 yards. they lost the game because their holder dropped an average snap from center. the only reason fsu scored at all was because of miami and referee mistakes. the sacks weren't just on the line, wright had a few where he should have gotten rid of the ball. he showed a ton of promise and will get better. i can't say that for weatherford.

I'm gonna have to disagree with you on a couple here, wasn't the touchdown setup on the kyler hall interception and referee mistakes, is that the supposed push of devin Hester when he ran into Willie Ried? In the replay to me it didn't look like a push or shove to me at least. On a side note Ried is out for at least 3 weeks because of that hit. As for Weatherford...he looked bad, real bad.

yes, but that interception was a miami mistake. i mean, it was an overthrown ball the miami receiver tipped right to hall.
and hester was blocked into reid, there's not much of a question to that.
my point is miami showed it has promise on both sides of the ball. fsu didn't. miami moved the ball. fsu didn't. miami's qb made some plays. fsu's didn't.
the other miami mistake that killed them was the dropped interception on the fsu 25 yard line. it was just a game miami bungled.

as much as it pains me, i must agree with petey... miami is definitely the better team and has a ton more promise than fsu... the quarterbacks are not even comparable... wright is so much better today than weatherford will be 4 years from now... i fell asleep when lee came in, so i really didnt see what he did... obviously not much, but i would have much rather had him in from the first snap than weatherford if im a noles fan

Miami lost another DB for the season, Anthony Reddick, a sohmore that was starting as a Saftey in their secondary, is out for the year after tearing a ACL in the FSU game, good thing they picked up kenny Philips.
