The worst thing for the Vikes is their running game, they used to have a decent line, why can they not run the ball this year?

Also Vikings fans, is Burleson just not that good? I haven't seen them play this year.

Mike Tice's job is in serious trouble, or at least it should be.

As much as I like Joey Harrington, he needs to be benched. He's had enough time to prove himself and show his ability and it's just not there. Detroit needs to find them a new QB. Five freakin' interceptions on Sunday!!!!!! How can you suck that much?!!!

i'll check back in a few weeks. the packers do look horrible right now, and i can easily see them only winning five games this year. however, in recent years they are notorious for starting slow (not this slow though), and once favre gets his accuracy (which he will, week 4 or 5), things will start to look better for green bay. if favre is still the favre of old, even this team can finish 8-8.

all that being said, green bay is going to get stomped on by tampa bay next week :(

EDIT:

nick, haven't the broncos made stumbling to 8-8 an art form?

I think that's causing far more problems than people realize.

Zing!

I am still completely puzzled as to why he hasn't been given the axe.

I'm glad to see the Packers struggle this year.

Only 2 were his fault.
He doesn't need to be benched, he needs a line. Garcia will struggle too, and he'll get a chance very soon.

PS...what's there to like about Harrington? He hasn't done shit yet, not totally his fault..but what has he done to gain any fans?

i think its basically what you just said....people are calling for his head for 3 years, and the people that are reasonable and realize this team is TERRIBLE become "fans" acknowledging its not his fault and hes been improving.

That said....The reciever are underachieving (understatement) , the Oline sucks and Dick Jauron wouldnt know how to use youth and speed and athletisim on D if someone wrote a D for Dummies book. This has to be the sorriest performance for "on paper" talented team i have ever seen. Truly a sad day to be a Lions fan.....and i also said the Ravens would win because of their D.....this is gonna be a bad year for me i can feel it.

Vikings win the division based on Culpepper and possible decent defense.

It would help if Ted Tollner would do what the Lions brought him in to do -- open up the offense. If I see one more 5 yard dump pass to Roy Williams I'm going to puke.

amen, but after watching the receivers through the preseason......i dont even feel very comfortable throwing to them in 1 on 1 matchups  this is such an underachieving team its gross.

They have absolutely no passion. Their quarterback is no leader. And their coach isn't creative enough to make the offense a weapon. With 5 first round draft picks at skill positions, the team should score more than 6 points.

You know what would really help the Lions? The Ford family selling the team.
