I dont understand why Nomar is "a joke"
He is a great shortstop although he has given plenty of reason to question his character recently.
If the Yankees signed him all the ignorant Yankee fans would jump on the Nomar bandwagon. Same as Pedro. Real Yankee fans would be disgusted.
