I am starting to warm up to Stocco. They have a great "D". Welsh, Hawthorne and James (the best Defensive player in the country?) are tremendous. Too bad there are so many seniors.

That all said, we could lose any of the next three:

Minnesota: The are still good offensively. Since it's at home, I figure our "D" can best their "O" and our "O" will find a way to score a couple of times.

Michigan State: Despite the whooping they put on Minnesota, I don't think they are that good. If this were a home game, I would not be worried. Anyone in the B10 can lose to anyone on the road. I think we'll win it.

Iowa: This is the one that really worries me. They are pretty good and it's on the road.

I don't think we'll win all three. Even if we do, we won't be in the Championship. Most of the other undefeateds could lose once and still end up ahead of us (like FSU right now). Those teams are probably better anyway (the purdue game was a bit of a fluke). If we win out and end up on the outside looking in, I won't be pissed about the teams ahead of us, but I will be pissed about the BCS. We need a tourney--not that I think the badgers would win a tourney, but I'd just like them to have a chance.

You're dead on about MSU. I freaking go here and I don't believe we are as good as we looked against MN. Everything came together that game. We just don't have the talent to truly compete this year. Probably why we scheduled Hawaii as our last game, it's our bowl. As you said, any road game in the Big Ten is tough, but I'd be highly surprised if your defense couldn't shut us down. Especially since we routinely have a recurring problem with WRs that can't hold on to the ball. Of course, I thought MN would be able to run all over our defensive line and I was glad to see my prediction was horribly wrong.

I really think Wisconsin has a very good chance of going undefeated. If they can maintain the level of play they've show so far this season, there's no reason they won't pull it off. I don't think Iowa is nearly as good as people are giving them credit for.

And the Badgers not being ahead of FSU in the BCS is a joke. It's bad enough when a lesser conference team is undefeated and ranked below a one-loss team, but if a Big Ten team hasn't lost they sure deserve some respect.

So who thinks that MSU will now beat the Badgers after f*ing up the Michigan game?

I can just see it...Michigan goes to the Rose Bowl because MSU couldn't hold a 17 point lead with 7 minutes left, but then beats UW so we both end with a 10-1 record and UM takes the tiebreaker.

I have to tell you, that MSU-UM game was some of the most exciting football I've ever watched. Hearing the crowd, 2 OTs and all the HUGE comeback...unreal!!! I didn't knew who to route for, I wanted MSU to upset, but then when UM was coming back I wanted them to complete the comback...and it was just awesome

It brings a tear to my eye that exciting games and classic plays ever existed around these parts.

Aside from that, I say don't be suprised if Wisconsin goes undefeated with 2 of the next 3 games being very close.

I see they got screwed in the AP poll. They put California at #4 ahead of the Badgers.

umm, there wouldn't be a tiebreaker if both teams are 10-1. In America we like to settle conference championships based on conference records. But yes, it is sad that the big ten sucks so bad that its best team lost to Notre Dame.

got screwed? If Cal had played UW's schedule noone would have come within two wouchdowns of them. If a terrible Arizona team plays you to a 9-7 final. you hardly have any space to complain.

the arizona game is a little skewed. they were playing in a monsoon. and the badgers are a better team now than they were then.

You can call it what you want, but no team in a major conference at this point of the season that is undefeated should trail a team that has lost. I don't care of Cal lost to #1 USC. They should have beat USC and then they'd be where USC sits now.

Bottom line is that you have to win games regardless of who you play and Cal lost. Until other teams undefeated lose they should not be ranked ahead of them.

WOW Ranked # 4 and 5!!!!!!!

That is crazy! I was just hoping that they would do well enough to get a bowl this year.

I'm still cautious though, Minnesota, Michigan State, and Iowa are always tough and I think it is VERY hard to go undefeated in the Big Ten.

We'll see!

well, we'll see if they're still in the top 25 after they lose 2 of the next 3.

If Stanton can't play, I don't see the Badgers having any trouble with MSU. If he does, however...
