I'm curious what goes on around the country at different games.
In NY, some of the better known ones include:
-Rangers fans yelling "Potvin Sucks" at EVERY game, no matter who they're playing.
-the J-E-T-S chants by Fireman Ed
-the roll call at Yankee stadium at the start of every game (the fans in the bleachers chant the name of every Yankee starter until the player acknowledges them).
so, what do they do at your favorite team's games?

At Eagles games: E-A-G-L-E-S, EAGLES!!!!
At Phillies games: E-A-G-L-E-S, EAGLES!!!!
At Sixers games: E-A-G-L-E-S, EAGLES!!!!
At Flyers games: E-A-G-L-E-S, EAGLES!!!!
At concerts in Philly, at concerts in Camden, at concerts in Atlantic City, outside Pat's Steaks at 3AM, at beach houses in the Outer Banks... pretty much anywhere there's a gathering of 10 or more people from the Philadelphia area: E-A-G-L-E-S, EAGLES!!!!

Philly fans are such idiots. When I went to the PJ show in Philly earlier this month I wore the ten club t-shirt with Mookie on the back. A couple of those idiots thought it was a Mets shirt and proceeded to tell me how bad the Mets suck.

I think they only thing I'd add is they only really do the Eagles chants at Phillies, Flyers and Sixers games when those teams are getting blown out or in the midst of a terrible season.

If somebody could come up with an emoticon for The Wave, I'd be ecstatic.
interesting, I remember reading somewhere that it was started in the Kingdome. I guess that's close enough.

I am anti wave. It rarely makes an appearance at Yankee Stadium, much more of a Shea thing (of course not often in recent years as you need a full house).
At Stars games, everybody screams when the nat'l anthem gets to "Oh say does that STAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARS spangled..."
Just a little thing, but I get goosebumps everytime I hear it.
at Camdem Yards, the accent is on the "Oh say does that"

I've heard it at a Phillies game last month, in the middle of a close game while the Phils were in the middle of the wild card chase. Though I guess that might be more due to the start of the football season than what the Phils were doing.

Yost Ice Arena at the U of Michigan has the most rabid crowd I've ever seen. It's like Cameron Indoor but smaller and drunker.
*Standard stuff for introduction of opposing teams, hold up newspapers and a big "Who cares"
*A Michigan goal "1, 2, 3, 4, We want more goals"
*followed by the ever popular- "GOALIE...SIEVE, GOALIE...SIEVE"
*During a time-out if an opposing goalie removed his mask a chant of "UGLY GOALIE" would break out.
*Quiet times in the game were broken up by a cow bell and "Let's Go Blue"
*Black Hole chant- "Hey Goalie...You're not a goalie, you're a sieve! You're not a sieve, you're a funnel! You're not a funnel, you're a vacuum! You're not a vacuum, you're a black hole! You're not a black hole, YOU JUST SUCK!"
****
There's a lot more than that. Seemingly endless.
Seriously, I've seen opposing players looking around like lost kittens in that place. It's an asylum. If I could choose to go to one sporting event in the nation, it would be a UM-MSU game at Yost.
there's this guy they call the Heckler at Tropicana field. he's got seats right behind homeplate. he goes to about 60 home games a year. Since there's usually only about 37 fans at Devil Ray games you can here him loud and clear. Even on TV. It's really really annoying

At pretty much any hockey game the Leafs are at you'll hear "Go Leafs Go" at some point because Leafs' fans are everywhere. I remember a game in LA, a "Go Kings Go" chant started and was quickly drowned out by "Go Leafs Go!" That was kind of cool.
In Montreal, apparently booing Eric Lindros is mandatory because of the whole not playing in Quebec thing.
Leafs fans boo Daniel Alfredsson quite passionately.

I know what you're talking about. Earlier this year (or maybe last year) he was hackling Eric Hinske like crazy. Hinske hit a game-winning homerun in the ninth and they showed the guy... he was just sitting there stunned, completely quiet.

at Yankee Stadium, they play "YMCA" while the grounds crew drags the infield. When it gets to the part of the song where people tradionally form the letters with their arms, the grounds crew drops the rake and spells out the letters. This got old about 10 years ago, but I guess there's always some young kid there at his first game who gets a kick out of it, so I really don't have a problem with it.
What's funny is what goes on in the bleachers during this. The fans will pick out a fan wearing a hat or shirt for the opposing team and sing along to the music, "Why are you gay?" instead of "YMCA". This gets VERY loud, and involves everyone one in the bleachers pointing at the poor guy while they're singing it.
