You pretty much nailed it. However, I could see Ryan Howard winning the NL ROY over Taveras. Taveras had a great rookie season but Howard's numbers are far better. And hopefully the fact that Taveras played in the postseason (and played well) won't be a factor b/c I think that's bullshit.

Carpenter will get the NL CY. Huston will win AL ROY. Bartolo will win AL CY despite Johan deserving it more.

Had more wins, better ERA, more shut-outs, and the same amout of complete games as Carpenter.

Yet will place 3rd behind Carpenter and Clemens.

Also had less strikeouts and didn't lead his team to the playoffs.

Yea right on both counts. Clemens had a great year and had his team given him some damn run support then he would be a lock for his 8th Cy Young Award. That shouldn't matter right? But 13 wins...c'mon. Plus he's already won SEVEN FUCKING TIMES. Carpenter deserves it. And Tony LaRussa?....Are ya serious? I could've managed that team to the playoffs. :)

Why, he deserves it. Did you see the fucking team he had this year? There was something like 18 rookies on the roster at one point. C'mon brotha...give credit where credit is due. :)
