illini/heels should be a dandy

Didn't Illinois win it last year? I can't remember. Did they even play it? God...last year seems so far away.

illinois beat wake forest last year. that was the game that put illinois in the #1 spot.

i havne't looked much at college basketball yet, but i know the big ten is a much improved conference this year.

Ah, college basketball in November. Almost like the NHL in early October or baseball in April -- no one remembers it come tourney/playoff time.

Yes, that's the first thing people spout off about teams in the NCAA tourney -- their records in November.

You yourself said these games are essentially meaningless. Remember the Santa Clara game last year?

meaningless? for the most part, yes

though, memorable? most definitely

btw, these games could be very critical for some bubble teams come march... all important? no, but there is still some meaning to 'em...

of course, if i was a fan of the lilten, i really wouldnt want to be remined of this challenge either

i think i agree with all of those except the first one. and i suppose there's a couple that could go either way because i know next to nothing about either program, heh.

i think that quite a few could go either way.... vatech/osu, ill/unc, clem/psu, wisc/wf, mia/mich, and maybe even duke/iu and state/iowa... hell, almost all of em... should be a great challenge, and definitely the best one yet

so why even come in here and waste our time?

and as ive already stated, it wont be meaningless in march when (insert bigten or acc team) is on the bubble and banking on this as one of their signature wins
