24. The Outdoor Games. In a typical move, ESPN takes our insomniac treats–including the World’s Strongest Man competitions–and packages them into Sportstainment!. What they fail to understand is that we liked them because they were on when we got home from the bar drunk enough to find them entertaining.

Any "worst of ESPN" list that omits mention of Dick Vitale and the network's perpetual hard-on for all things Duke basketball is incomplete in my book.

Oh, it’ll be incomplete, for sure, Rick. We have a life to tend to, otherwise we’d still be rolling towards upward of 150.

I'd have to agree that Dick Vitale is a very big omission, though.

I would have had him 1-52.

53) They seem to be under the impression that there are only 2 teams in baseball.

How can SNF not be on there?

And the fact that Chris Berman is so annoying that he occupies multiple positions, crowding out many things, not the least of which is Jay Mariotti.

SNF, at minimum, should be in the top 5.

Around The Horn is the worst thing I've ever seen in my life, that's a worse omission than the Sunday Night clowns.

I don't have ESPN at home, so I don't get to watch SNF. Yay me.

ATH was pretty decent in the beginning, but Kellernan got overbearing, left, and the show tailspinned, imo. It's merely okay every now and again these days. It was absolutely brutal when Reali first took over.

Around the Horn is a terrible show... But I accept the fact some people might like it.

But SNF should be a no-brainer. I turn off the volume everytime i watch it.

Everytime i hear "i'll tell you what, you gotta give a lot of credit to *insert overrated players name here* for *insert something dumb here*" i just wanna kick them in the head. They use that same line every 5 minutes. It's like all players are their best buddies...ugh snf really annoys me.

ATH is a guilty pleasure for me; sometimes I laugh out loud, sometimes I curse Reali for his horrible scoring.

25. Lee Corso. Not so fast, my friend! His analyses come down to “Ooh! They’re tougher than the other guy!” or “Kirk said this, so I’ll disagree with him and put on this mascot head!” Makes the already superb Herbstreit look like a bona fide savant in comparison, which may be his role.

That's hilarious.
