That was the only year that an 11-5 team ever missed the playoffs. What's worse is that an 8-8 team made it in. But karma has its way; that 11-5 team sufficiently owned the 8-8 team in three out of the next four years.

have the VHS of the Super Bowl shuffle down in my basement, along with a tape of Super Bowl XX. I probably have watched that tape about 25 times in my lifetime, could probably call most plays before hand
