Yeah, I think I'd have to get maybe 12 million more a year to do that....
I don't think it's as much of an issue as you guys are worried about, Johnny Damon is a good CF yea, but the Red Sox will be fine, they are still committed to winning and they will do it with someone else, plus, you get to boo his ass all year just like the Braves fans boo the hell out of Tom Glavine, who oh by the way has been less than stellar since he went to the hated mets.
That, and you guys have a football team in town that's won 3 out of the last 4 SB's and a WS victory in the last what 2 years? I'm interested in seeing who the sox will plug in.

yeah i'm not worried about it either. the sox are better with him, but for that money i didn't see it. they'll make a move for someone, a bunch of names are being thrown around here (terrence long, torri hunter, corey patterson, etc.... ) so who knows.
right now it's all PATS all the time for me anyways.... and i'm finally starting to like what i see at this point in the year.
