whats that make iverson?
Are you under the impression that he's America's sweetheart?
though i think the guy can not handle having another all star on his team and will never do much in terms of getting to the finals cause of it, i do respect the fact that he gives it his all, but he left the court with either 11 or 21 seconds left in the game, just walked right off and to the dressing room. this is a few days after questioning his role on the team

Just so you know, he does it all the time. Any time a game is over and the other team is dribbling out the clock he heads off the court.

Randy Moss wasn't classless for that, Allen Iverson was hurt (and as Jimmac said, this is kind of typical AI), and ESPN/other television and media outlets like to make something out of nothing.
Iverson banged knees with one of the Jersey Nets when he was driving on one play and it was pretty obvious for the rest of the game that he was hurting. With 18 seconds left and the Sixers down by about 10 points, AI wandered off the court and into the locker room. It was reported that Mo Cheeks had a pissed-off 30 minute rant that he delivered to the Sixers after the game, and it was insinuated by ESPN that the rant was inspired by and directed toward Iverson's behavior.
It's more likely that the reason he was pissed off is because the Sixers are playing like shit.

I honestly don't see the big deal about when he walks off the court when the other team is standing there dribbling out the clock. When I am playing in my league games and that happend I walk off the court or the refs just end the game right there. I don't see the point in standing there pretending to play defense. It's not a big deal.
Cheeks was mad because the team is not playing any defense and they have gotten progressively worse over the last few weeks. If you watched the game Iverson is about the only one who was giving any effort out there.
Honestly, he is my favorite player in any sport and for his sake I hope they trade him to a team that can win a title. The way this team has been put together makes it impossible for them to win this year or in the next 4 years for that matter.

Give the guy a break, he leaves everything he has on the court, and if his team had four other guys like him they would be in the finals every year.
youre kidding right? you could put twenty balls on the court on a 5 man team of iversons and it still wouldnt be enough
7.5 assists a game, led his team in assists 35 out of 38 games, 10+ assists 10 times.
.....and he was making a point about his effort, which you obviously ignored to take another dig.
i never questioned his effort, in fact, my second post in the thread
