Apparently Theo Epstein has just resigned as Sox GM. This sucks. I loved Theo and what he did while he was here. I'm sure he has his reasons, but I'm seriously pissed off about this. Larry Luchino is to blame for this I have no doubt.

You act like Gammons has credibility left. He's a mouth piece for front-offices, most of all the Red Sox front office.

Gammons also said the Yankees had no farm system left, and Robinson Cano will be accepting his AL Rookie of the Year award any day now.


By all credible accounts the reason this happened is that there was serious friction between Epstein and Lucchino (because the latter can't shut up and stop leaking info that Epstein wants kept confidential) and the final straw was Lucchino telling the Boston Globe that Epstein had asked him to take the blame for a cancelled trade with Colorado this year.
How the fuck do you work for a guy who makes you look bad by leaking this shit to the media?
