as a long time sabres fan, i am truly amazed that they've held on this long. of course there is still al ot of hockey to be played, but i haven't felt this good about a sabres team since 1999. Woooo.

I realize most responses will be "hockey sucks" and/or "fuck the sabres." but i'm excited and i just needed to shout that out.

I'm with you! I grew up in Buffalo, and love the hell out of that team! They've done very well, even with their top scorers our with injury (Briere, Dumont).

They got all the right pieces to make a good playoff run - great goaltending, good team chemistry, excellent penalty kill, balanced offense.

Ah, yes, the Championship that nobody won, just stole.

C'mon, even Brett Hull admitted it was illegal!

Go Wings! However, Ryan Miller hoisting the Cup would be my second choice.

No, because I'm a Sens fan.

I'm a big Ryan Miller fan though.

Team USA looks extremely stupid for not taking him.

It doesn't matter, Team USA has zero chance of getting any kind of medal, at least on the men's side. I wouldn't be surprised to see him added to take Esche's spot, he's been injured off and on all season.

I love the Sabres, but they don't need their own thread. If they win the Cup, then you can start a thread. Until then, you're banned.

if by that you mean Chris Drury is a natural born leader, who is a better human being than either you or I, than I agree.

as for my Dallas friends...

I actually think the no-goal crap is pretty pathetic...the Stars were the better team that year.

but I mean you're in Texas...I'm just impressed that you guys even like hockey

that's like saying the AFC was stupid for selecting Sam Adams.

the olympics are a joke...

the amateurs were SOOOO much more entertaining.

remember lindros vs sundin...the last great olympics. the pro crap is just that...crap.
