It's not Detroit's fault that they gave birth to that Notre Dame attendin' sack of shit.
To be quite honest, I have always liked Bettis. I have always hated Notre Dame, but Bettis was the one Irish player that I really did like. Seems like a really nice guy, he plays hard, and he is fun to watch. And if the Steelers were playing anyone besides the Hawks yesterday, I would have been rooting for them. I regarded Bettis as a solid ambassador for the league and for the sport. I also used to think that the NFL was the ONE pro sports association that actually had its shit together. Not anymore.
