The NBA playoffs do nothing for me until the conference championships.

Yeah, all those first round match-ups look like snoozers.

I'm hoping for a Pistons-Spurs rematch, though.

I'm bummed the Rockets aren't in this year but excited to see my man TJ Ford go up against Chauncy Billups - if only for four games :(

NBA Playoffs need a serious retooling. Two months is way too long for a playoff tournament.

I haven't paid the slightest bit attention to this past season...I am rooting for the Heat but think it'd be cool to see another Pistons-Spurs rematch.

It'd help define the decade.

I must say I'm excited...more excited than I was for March Madness.

There's only a few series that look to be really bad:

Detroit-Milwaukee...the Bucks have no shot
Miami-Chicago...Shaq should have his way inside
New Jersey - Indiana...I don't think the Pacers have anything left

But the rest should be solid

Cleveland-Washington...LeBron in the playoffs, what else do you need
San Antonio-Sacramento...Kings with Artest have really come on
Phoenix-Lakers...How many points will Kobe put up?
Clippers-Denver...These two are pretty even and it should be exciting
Dallas-Memphis...Pau vs. Dirk

Shouldn't be any surprises... Only "upset" will be when No.6 Clippers beat "No.3" Denver with their home court advantage.

Get ready for 5 days in between games to accommodate the TV schedules. These playoffs should, realistically, last just over a month at the most. Instead, we'll be watching Game 7 of the Finals on the 4th of July. What a joke.

Go Pistons.

It's only two days off between each game in the series (for most of them..there's a couple that are stretched a little) and the Finals will end around the same time the NHL does. Two years ago I think the NBA ended only a couple days after the NHL did.

The NBA Finals will be over by the second week of June at the latest.

Last year the Pistons had four games off between games with Miami. The year before the Lakers played on a Monday and then again on a Saturday night. It can get pretty ridiculous.

They've fixed that this season.

I love how so many people think the Lakers actually have a shot to beat the Suns. I personally think the Pistons run away with the title this year.

Tell me about it... Suns win 7 in a row with a comfortable margin each time. Suns lose one when they're sitting their starting backcourt AND it's better for them to lose it in the interest of playoff seeding anyways, and now the sports media is talking about how that last game shows the Lakers have a chance to steal it? Please. I hope they're just trying to generate hype and that they don't actually believe what they're saying.

I think my "in #" predictions are off. The rest sounds good.

No way the Lakers can keep up with the Suns, their gameplan has been let Kobe get his points and keep everyone else from doing anything. Suns win by 10+ every game.....in a SWEEP
