i really doubt this. they just gave him an extension! plus, they should make the playoffs.
You assume that the person who will make this decision is rational.
he's somewhat rational nowadays
He's regressing, He's already gone back to trying to buy championships like he did in the 80's, it's only natural that he'll go back to playing musical bench.

Mike Tice...you're fired!
Vikings defense...you're fired!
Coach Glen Gulutzan...you're fired! even though the season hasn't started yet.

I can't believe that with all that talent they picked up, their defense looks even worse. That should be a huge red flag against Tice and whoever the defensive coordinator is.

I agree. I think that they need to offload Tice and Ted Cottrell (Defensive Coordinator). TC has been with the Vikings for only 2 years and you can see that he isn't doing so well.
Management needs to stop dinking around and let these people go so that the team can start fresh. It may take a few years to rebuild, but it the end it will all be worth it. They can't get much more worse than where they are at now.

Ah, so that's who it is! I'm sure some Jets fans will have some words about that.

Nah, like I said, I think the talent is there for the most part, which is why it doesn't speak well for the coaching. If the Vikings do tank this year, they could snag a top-tier WR and be right back, like when they went 5-11 and got Culpepper.

I completely worded that wrong. I didn't mean re-build the team, I meant that they should get new coaches. My bad. I'm pretty sure that they will tank it this year. They can't keep losing by 20 points or more.
Oh geez, do I even want to know that the Jets fans have to say?

I expect the Tigers to go after either Leland (who started his career with Detroit and is close to President Dave Dembrowski) or Maccha.
This had to be done.
God, not Macha....
It was disappointing how they ended the season, but I think Tram deserved another season. He started with a team that would have struggled to win in AAA. I just think he should have been allowed to finish his contract.

From what I've read, he completely lost the team. Players started to grumble behind his back and refused to play or even show up (e.g., Dimitri Young and Pudge). And from the many games I've watched this year, Trammell made many, many tactical errors that even a AAA manager would not have made.
If the team is serious about winning, they needed to make this move. They can't afford another season next year below .500.

go manage the pirates Jim, you wont be missed in LA.
Good, now you can have Dusty Baker . . .
thanks but no thanks.
Im hearing some shitty names for the LA job...terry collins? Glen Hoffman? Orel Hershiser??? maybe Orel, but the other names are putrid.
the Dodgers should hire Kirk Gibson right NOW. Lets see JD Drew go up to manager gibson and tell him he cant play today hes got an injury...Gibby would crack JDs glass jaw with a fungo bat and MAKE his candy ass play
