I don't know what combination of hard work and/or luck landed you a seat at the bar in a standing-room-only bar on the UNC campus, but we need to discuss some things.

1) You pee like a little girl. Upon making people move for the 25th time in a two-hour basketball game so that you can pee, even a UNC fan would be risking a lynching.

2) Are you really happy there? I mean, all of your high fives were returned with middle fingers. Even if Duke had won, you'd still be one guy, alone in a bar packed shoulder-to-shoulder with people that hate you. Didn't you have ONE friend to bring to the bar with you? And if you didn't? There are lots of great bars on the Duke campus which is only 15 minutes away. Too far? There are several neutral sites in between! I really felt bad the way you had to pay up and get the fuck out with five minutes left in the game.

3) Dook sucks!!

Your caring friend,
B

Is it anything like being a Republican in the N&D forum?

Want me to play Devil's Advocate for a month? I've toyed with the idea before... I love being the odd man out.

I like it to, but I like having friends. I would never do it alone.

Here we are at an Illinois game. I had an awesome time, but I couldn't imagine winning and having no one to cheer with or drink with.

I remember an OSU/UM game where a Michigan fan was in the middle of south stands. People started pelting him with shit, including a soda bottle full of urine.

Is this Duke fan supposed to be checking the Red Mosquito board for a message from you?

i went to a Cubs game in '93 the night after Barkley and Richard Dumas lit up the Bulls in Game 3... anyway, i chose to wear a Barkley jersey to the game... we sat in the bleachers... i was nearly mauled.... the entire left field side of the bleachers was standing, pointing at me, chanting "Barkley Sucks!" near the middle of the game... they were screaming at me to take it off... pretty scary... my friend was wearing an MJ jersey as we were just two 16-year olds looking to get on TV

Yeah, so were my college buddies who grew up in Warren. I still deflate their dumb Steelers ball everytime I'm at their house. :P
