Morrison has more overall skill, Redick probably has a purer shot. Morrison can play better defense, offense without the ball and can score around the hoop. He also hustles as much as any player I've seen.

So Adam Morrison.
yeah i agree...not to take anything against redick but i don't think he'll be able to create his own shot as well in the NBA...but i'd definitely like him on the floor in the closing seconds if you need a big 3

JJ Redick = Steve Kerr
Not an insult, but Morrison's an all-around player.
I'll agree with this. Morrison can actually create his own shot, Redick's going to do just fine as a 6th or 7th man. Morrison could be very good, but not great. Maybe a 14 point-6 rebound guy in the NBA.

i've seen a lot of reddick creating his own shots in the little college basketball this year, i dunno.

yeah, he can in college...i'm just not sure he can in the pros that well...like someone said reddick=steve kerr...but i think a little better, not really sure to compare him to then though, but kerr is close

Where has morrison shown he plays better defense? People keep concentrating on what Reddick can't do, all he's done is become a complete player in 4 years if you've watched the guy, that and he's done so at Duke, the singularly most hated institution in College basketball the last 15 years or so.
If anything Morrison might turn out better in the NBA because of his size.
Reddick has become better year after year after year I think he's going to be solid but not brilliant, probably a bench player 12 - 15 off the bench. The problem is both of these guys play the two. The NBA has a bounty of #2's a whole bunch of shooters, not a lot of true point guards and not a lot of decent centers. Look at the difference Chris Paul made this year. How stupid are the Hawks for taking another small foward in Marvin Williams when they have no point guard?
Bottom line I don't think either of these guys can guard Kobe.
The only slight I really have against Reddick is his size. He'll get taken int he first round, but I don't think he'll become a superstar. He will be a nice piece to have on the team though.
Morrison will be taken first with his size. He's got a chance to be good offensively as well, I don't see the guy playing much defense, probably also another piece who gets you 12-15 pts a night off the bench.
That's just how I see it.
Also, if Reddick went to say Marquette or Syracuse or even say Virginia maybe even North Carolina he'd be loved. A lot of people hate the guy simply because it reads Duke on his jersey and he's white.
Reddick like a young Hornacek, or can he be a little better?
I think Horanek might be a better projection for him than Kerr. Kerr wasn't half the player in college that Redick is right now...
I think I said this in another thread...I think Redick has the potential to be a poor man's Chris Mulllin/Reggie Miller type. That would be the best case scenario for him IMO.
