Any mention of spanking being part of his suspension?

Eagles: Owens suspended indefinitely by Fanball Staff - Fanball.com Saturday, November 5, 2005
News The Eagles announced Saturday that they have suspended wide receiver Terrell Owens indefinitely for conduct detrimental to the team. Owens ripped the team for not making a bigger deal of his 100th career touchdown reception and took shots at his quarterback Donovan McNabb in an interview with ESPN this past week. The Eagles brass forced Owens read an apology to the team and players in front of the media on Friday.
Views There is no word yet on how long Owens will be suspended, but fantasy owners should immediately make alternate plans for Sunday night's game against the Redskins. His absence will obviously have a negative impact, ironically enough, on McNabb, who is also nursing rib, sternum, shin, and hernia injuries but is planning to play. We could learn more about the extent of the suspension in the next 24 hours, however, fantasy owners should brace themselves for the possibility that the Eagles will give him the same treatment that the Buccaneers gave Keyshawn Johnson last year.

im actually pretty impressed with the Eagles. they really dont take any $hit. they dont restructure deals, they dont deal with players (even star players) dissing the team. they have no chance for the NFC title now, but its interesting to see the oldschool way they handle things.

Yeah, but maybe they traded for him with the intention of putting a stop to it.

the interview with irvin, if this is what they are helping to base the suspension on, then they are fuckwads. and if they are basing it soley on TO griping about no celebration of his 100th TD, than that is equally fuckwadish

All it will take is for Donovan to get TO to turn around, bend over and give his ass a good open palm whacking for a good 10 minutes.
She'll be 'right, mate.

perhaps, but what would make them think that they could stop it?

Even with his past history with SF, I doubt the eagles thought it could get worse and I am sure they figured that if he was on a winning team, one with true SB chances, that he would behave better. With all the talent he has, another team will be along to sign him after the Eagles release him or however this thing ends.

if you think it is only the interview w/ irvin that got him suspended you are a fuckwad. this isnt even the first time he's been suspended this year.

I'd laugh even harder if Reggie Brown does a good job replacing him. I thought he was a great draft pick by the Eagles.

By calling the team classless? by ripping on the QB every chance he gets? by his media circus constantly complaining about his contract? The fans are fed up, the players are fed up, the coaches are fed up, management is fed up. He totally deserves to be suspended. enough is enough.
You think they don't want him out there on the field? the are making a stand that you cannot be a distraction like this to the team. I commend the Eagles for doing it......plus we will now see what the running game is really made of.

i thought mcmullen was owens' backup?
mcmullen is (was) the #4 guy. Brown was the third reciever. McMullen is horrible.
