Just finished watching the best fight i have seen since Gatti/Ward I. Diego Corrales vs Castillo was absolutely incredible. Showtime never usually has any good fights but this one was truly a classic. I'm not sure if Showtime will replay it but they should. Boxing might be an underground sport these days but they do put out some great fights once in awhile. Maybe one of you guys caught this bout and wanted to comment. I doubt it though........

Boxing is the most raw sport there is. It hasn't changed much in thousands of years. It's fucking gladiator shit. Best athletes on the planet as far as i'm concerned. You don't always get to see the greatest fight everytime you watch, but you get to see some gems that stay in your mind forever. My grandfather was a top middleweight for a long time, we have a shitload of articles hanging up here of him. My dad wasn't so good and i stopped club fighting when i was 14. It's truly an amazning sport. Imagine some built -up, strong motherfucker punching you in the ribs like 100 times in about 20 minutes. You actually have to train to take that sort of beating. It's just balls out and is probably my 2nd favorite sport to watch besides football.

The whole world of professional boxing is completely corrupt. Fuck that shit.
you ever here of Major League Baseball?
And as far as boxing being corrupt, i can't argue that. The rankings, promoters, the fixes, etc....it's always been around and will always stay around. But most of the fights are legit. Two guys aren't going to script beating the living hell out of each other. It's basically the opposite of "weak"

PS - boxing sucks. Mills Lane, Michael Buffer, Don King, and Mike Tyson are the only reasons to ever watch or be interested in boxing.
this is quite possibly the stupidest thing i have ever read. congrats.
