Have him in my keeper league. Fucking studmuffin. He's already the best 3B not named Alex in baseball.
A healthy Scott Rolen is the best 3B in baseball, in my opinion. His combination of Defense and Offense is equal to none.
Agreed. Wright will probably overtake him in a year or two, but I put Rolen ahead of him right now.
rolen is better than a-rod?

I think Scott Rolen is terrific, love him as a ballplayer too. I'll be honest though, Davey put up .300 27 100 last year hitting 6th in a lineup that was very very poor... Not to mention Shea is far from a hitter's park... I think if you plugged him into the Cardinals lineup you woudl get the same and probably even better offensive numbers from Wright... that being said the defense isn't a contest right now, as Wright hasn't come close to his potential defensively as of yet...
Few more stats... Wrights OBP was .388 last year, his first full big league season, Rolen has only been that high twice... He also stole 17 bases, a number that Rolen has never reached in his career... I think right now its very very close to a coin flip offensively

It's tough to compare, mainly due to the shoulders of Rolen, he hasn't played through a whole season in some time.

If Willie stopped making the lineup like a jerk off and hit Wright 3, his numbers would be unreal with Reyes and Beltran in front of him and Delgado protecting
