well i know rugby league is not a big sport over there like it is here, but i beleive there is a game on tomorrow (tues nite for USA) between the australians and the US. i will admit that i am expecting the aussies not to be troubled as they are the best team in the world(no bias it is a mere fact) however i would encourage all to watch it (i assume it is on tv coz it would be a shame if it wasnt) just to see a fanatastic and talented team play wat i beleive to be a marvellous game.
anyhow just wanted to make people aware if they werent already, cheers.

Yep, 36-24 to the Kangaroos. US was off to 18-0 lead half hour into the game. Hopefully the game expands overseas.

I really enjoyed watching Rugby League when I was over in Australia, probably because of its relative similarity to gridiron over here.

Do they even air rugby regularly in the US? I've only ever seen the occasional match, and more likely highlight, on ESPN2. It's a shame. I love watching it.

i read a couple articles about it in the philly metro, it was played at the u of penn i think. rugby really does look like a fun sport, id love to learn how to actually play.

did anyone see the dude from the dolphins celebration? he put the ball down and layed on it like he was paddling out and that hopped up like he was surfing. i wonder if TO was watching? we may see it sunday

Rugby was always popular club sport at the Universities I have attended and worked at.
