I think Lendale White will have a better career than Bush. He is bigger, not as fast obviously. But the man can catch the ball and run people over and from what I've heard he is a pretty good blocker too. We shall see.

I think so too, he absolutely wrecked Texas and we held Reggie under 100 I think.

everybody and their sister knew the gameplan was to contain Bush, not White... i'd say that has a lot to do with it

Having another very quality RB back there, probably 12 - 20 carries if he starts, maybe 5 to 8 passes thrown his way. I sincerely hope they take the risk and have him returning at least kick offs and maybe punts too.
I think if he's not getting 20 to 25 touches a game, it's not worth the price. He should be getting 20 to 25 a game as a #1 pick.

Could be, I just don't see him as a productive back for a full season. Will he have some unbelievable plays? I would think so. But I see him as a Randel El type of player, put him in the slot. I just feel bad for the Texans because of the hype machine that surrounds this guy, they really have to pick him.
as tremendous of an athlete as bush is i worry about his size and durability...i just don't see him as the top notch can't miss #1 pick that some people make him out to be, especially for the texans who already have a very capable RB

why does everyone keep questioning Bush's durability?... has he ever had any serious injuries?... a bum knee i dont know about or somethin?... i think Bush will be a star, but i also think that the Texans are nuts to not trade down with the pick... im sure there some ignorant team out there willing to give up a nice package for him... something semi-Walker worthy

Bush was just dinged up at times. Hamstring and ankle i believe.

i'm not saying i think he'll be injury prone and such, he's just never had to handle a full load that's typical for most NFL rb's...i hope he has a great NFL career, but i just can't help but be a little skeptical, and i wouldn't blame GM's for feeling the same way

I think it's more about his style, he is gonna be wingin around the corner like he does in college, only the NFL guys are just as fast and will truck him before he can get to the sideline. Those balls he catches in open space on a full sprint? think he's not gonna get laid out on a few of those?
When's the last time a guy with ridiculous speed came in and was a stud in the NFL?

There are some NFL starters who never had to handle a full load. Guys like Julius Jones, Domanick Davis, Priest Holmes, Cadillac, Brown. There are also guys like Poris and McGahee who only were the featured back for one season.
