I'm surprised there isn't one of these already, given how passionate the fans of both teams are.
So, who wins the season series this year? It's 3-1 Cubs right now, and the Cubs have owned the Cardinals the last year+, but the Central is crazy right now. Almost anything could happen, save the Reds or Pirates winning the division.

So, what say you?
we might lose the series to the Cubs, but we wont lose the division to anyone... we'll have it sealed by mid-August... but as a Birds fan, until we get to the World Series, i cant get too excited

i dont see the cubs winning more than 5 games over the next 10 weeks, so i say cards.
So they're going to go approx 5-45?
Derek Lee is good, very good, but he's not the difference between 5 games over .500 and 35 games under .500!
Dusty's doing it again though...what better opportunity could there be to see if Pie can hack it on the major league level yet? Give him 2 weeks, and if he's not better than Freddie Bynum or Jacque Jones, send him back down.

I might add that giving Sing or Dopirak a shot, and having them perform well, would be a great way to increase their value for a Miguel Cabrera trade....

A guy I know became a father not too long ago. He's also a Cubs fan. He's already screwing the kid up:

Very nice. I remember some of the first words I ever said: "Yay Cardinals, boo Cubs".

yeah, call up the guy who hit .235 with a .670 ops in A ball just a year ago, that'd be wise.

And people talk about bringing Patterson up too early and crushing his confidence . . .
