You said it best, they were the best TEAM. Guess what happens when you have the best team, it meshes. Guess you have never experienced this.
please allow me to shoot another stupid theory of yours out of the water.
the lakers threepeated, thats back to back to back championships, with kobe and shaq on the same team, dont say good teams mesh, those two were like oil and water
I didnt say good teams mesh. But I will say great teams mesh.
I'm sorry, but bringing up contracts signed under the old CBA only hurts your arguement.
Nice try though!
what are you talking about. its simple math
you talking hurts your arguement
Actually, it's not "simple math" as you so ignorantly put it.
You CANNOT compare contracts signed under the old CBA to contracts signed this offseason (as well as last offseason).
There are a number of reasons for this. If you don't know them, then I can't help you.
You never answered the question (probably because you can't): what other team could afford to pay (and needed) a 34 year old backup catcher that much money?

The numbers I put up explain myself clearly. You can say what you want about these old rules, but 5.5 million is 5.5 million, no matter what the rules are.
seriously, you should just change your name to big stanley, cause youre about the biggest tool on this board
Is that all you do is try to annoy people? Try saying something pertinent to the conversation. Or would all that thinking hurt too much?
wake up alice, youre not in wonderland anymore
and believe me, im not even trying to be annoying, i can be the most annoying person on this board with a smidge of effort, so if you want to get into a little pissing match let me know

I am done conversing with you, untill you can actually say something worth responding too.
Peeps you talk a big game but your a fuckign loser at heart...you have nothing better to do but sit her and bitch piss and moan about shit..and u think you know everything..so do us all a favor and shut the hell up
am i the only one who thinks that "reecedawg" is just a second name registered by this "walshmg" fellow?
seriously though, doug mirabelli is not worth a 3-million dollar deal. a guy like John Flaherty, with similar career numbers/age/status, made half of that last year.

hey i'm my own person with my own ideas u friggen idiots....i just strongly beleive that mirabelli is worth it
then i'd say you're crazy. even if you could argue that he's worth it(which i don't think you can), he's certainly not a "steal".
david ortiz turned into a steal. the only time the word "steal" and mirabelli should ever be uttered in the same sentence is when there's a runner on first.
