I'm fine with considering baseball a pastime, but baseball really requires just about as much activity as golf. In any given minute, you're 98% likely to just stand or sit there.

No one steals bases in golf.
No one dives to catch fly balls in golf.
No one has to use instinct and reflexes to do anything in golf.
There is zero running in golf.
It's not even a contest. Either baseball is a sport, or baseball isn't a sport and golf isn't anywhere NEAR a sport.
