The first Blue Jays game ever took place in Exhibition Stadium, which was completely covered in snow. I don't know what the were thinking putting a baseball team in Toronto without a domed stadium.

Anyway, it's nice to see this for the Twins after all the struggles they've had (particularily with the whole contraction thing.)

Without using public funds I hope. Their owner is an absolute tool.

Holding the publics love for a team hostage so you can sit there and continue to rake in money on the front end from their ticket prices and on the back end getting them to build you a new stadium is one of the worst things an owner can do.


Congrats on the new stadium anyway, I just hate seeing public funds go to stadiums when there are so many other needs.
