a question was posed on espn.go.com about whether or not Noah should turn pro... i answered yes... i was surprised to see that 72% of those asked said no.... i dont actually think he is good enough to do much at the nba level until he develops a shot, but he would be an idiot to not leave... this is as high as his stock will ever be... he's been considered at Top 3 pick (ive seen), and with the kids that will be one-and-done next year, he'll be nowhere in the Top 5 (that's pretty much a guarantee) next year
oh... i figured this thread could be for discussion on staying and leaving and then changed to a Draft thread in June

i think he should leave also. his stock will never be higher, as far as i seen, i have as much of a outside shot as he does (though i havent seen many a florida game) but his passing/rebounding and blocking are phenomenal.
i also think farmar should test the waters to see whats out there

Personally, If I was on that team I would stay and defend my title and try and win 3. They could go down in history as one of the best programs ever if they keep that team together and they win 1 or 2 more titles.
I think Brewer is the best player on that team.
Noah has a bad attitude, I think $ will ruin him at his age.

i think mcroberts is a rebounder. he hasnt had the chance to show what he can really do around the basket. taking over for the landlord next season will be his to stay or leave year
mac....i dont think money will ruin him since he grew up with a athlete father, i think thats whats responisble for his current attitude. ive never really seen interviews with him and have only read one SI interview with him and seen him on the court, but he crosses the line of confident and goes straight to cocky.
as much as people say jj is a dick, i think he stays on the side of confident, noah can even see that side anymore

Depends on how it goes and the environment.
The Pistons, have a certain Tarheel who has always had a bad attitude, kind of funny how security in the form of money and success in the form of wins and an awesome team will mellow out a terrible attitude.
If he stays and I hope he does frankly, he risks the James Forrest syndrome of tanking next year, but the guy could also prove to be the best in the country next year too whereas this year he kind of came out of nowhere. It's all a gamble. I hope he plays one more year at Florida.

Noah certainly doesn't need the money -- he has a father that is a multi-millionaire. Because the financial situation isn't in play, I would say he should stay and be a man among boys in college.

Did you guys see Noah winking and making kissy faces at the cheerleader during the game? I mean while play was going on, it was either after a rebound or before he inbounded a ball. The kid is a total douche. He also looked like a complete asshole in the postgame press conference wearing the hat backwards without the adjuser connected.

does his father really have that much $$? I know he played tennis like 20 years ago...but I don't know much else.

considering what a top 3 pick in the nba would be paying, i would think noah's daddy doesnt have a lot of cash in comparison

Really? As much as I don't like players who leave early, how can you say you'd do anything different in their position? Instant, guaranteed millionaire status within your grasp is a tough thing to turn down. Think of Boobie Miles, who didn't even go to college.

He also has quite a successful career as a musician. He's doing quite well.

Even to this day Boobie can't turn down the instant cash. At least that's what he told the 10-year old he sold crack to last Thursday.

That's suprising to me b/c the kid looks like he's straight from the projects.
Well w/ this new information I think he might just stay in school. Before I thought there was no way this cocky bastard would turn down the dough.

his mom told media after the game he's not going anywhere. but that's his mom.
anyways, chris is right: his dad is a rich fuck so $ doesn't matter to him. plus, that group of four sophomores all live together and are best friends, so i can see pressure keeping them around.

Yea, money isnt an issue with him so I figure he will (and should) stay. If he stays, I think they have a chance to go deep again next year.
Besides, he needs to work on his offense.
