I'm mentally retarded. That's why the catcher who is batting .390 (ahem, THREE NINETY) is third in the balloting.

Vick has to be one of the most overrated QBs of all-time.

I hear what you are saying but......................... and a big BUT....................... this happens all the time. I guess it's just about fan support (obviously). I take it as a huge compliment, it just shows the SOX love.

Is there any other fan in the US that loves their team this much ( any sport) ??????????????? And I'm not just basing this on the voting. This is based on the games I watch in other parks where it almost sounds like Fenway. And no.... I didn't vote a single time on this, I could care less who gets voted in.

I'm thinking early August would be good or whenever the preseason rankings come out.

They've been top 10 in every preseason ranking I've seen so far. Top 3 in the Athlon Sports mag I just bought, which I thought was much too high. Especially since they had WVU at 6. ;)

well having 3 straight #1 recruiting classes will do that...although I'm expecting an 11-1 or 10-2 record.

I didn't think that the public voted on the Pro Bowl, I always thought it was just the players and coaches.

The Pro bowl might be the worst all-star game but the way they vote is by far the best. I'm pretty sure the fans/coaches/players each get a third of the vote. What makes the baseball voting even worse is that the game actually means a lot for the playoff teams(home field goes to the winning team). It seems like a contradiction and another stupid move by Bud Selig

I think its like 40/40/20 or something like that. It's not even I know that much. And Bud Selig is BY FAR the worst commish, although Betman has been catching up lately...

I'd say Bettman is worse than Selig.
