what a brutal column. Could he whine just a little bit more? I love how he bemoans all the newcomers to poker, when he himself only started playing after watching Rounders. Instead of writing an informative piece about the whole experience and giving some insight into the tourney from his perspective (which probably would have been interesting), he whines like a little bitch about how he lost even though he played a hand "perfectly". I've been reading this guy since before his espn gig...and I still enjoy most of his stuff, but he's getting a little tough to take.

i'll agree on this column. next year, i'll have the 10Gs no problem, but don't want to just get intimidated walking right in. i'd love to know what to expect when it comes to things like that.
well they're broadcasting it...right? so they probably waived the entry fee fo him. They need to show this is TV so we can all see the Simmons Face.

I wish he'd do more mailbags and bad movie reviews.
They're more interesting than any of his Boston articles, nowadays. I understand he's a Boston fan, and I'm sure fellow Boston fans still enjoy them, but they've severely dropped off in quality since when I first started reading him. I used to religiously check ESPN for any update of his, now I'll go weeks without even thinking about his stuff.
why do players on partypoker.net get so pissed when you go all in with a pair of dueces, and they fold?
Because they are an easily frustrated bunch.
ok, cause when i play, ill easily throw away 2-500 in chips knowing im not going to win, but this will usually sucker people when i bet that much when i have a flush or a straight, that way they can never say, oh when he has a good hand, he bets x amount, but when hes bluffing he will bet x-200 amount
