Alright folks, time to make some more predictions for the season that we can all go back and laugh at at the end of the year!
Here's some of mine:
--The Cleveland Browns will barely make the playoffs.
--The Miami Dolphins will be the equivalent of the 2005 Jaguars: around 12-4 and then get obliterated in the first round.
--The Rams will own the #1 overall pick in 2007, with the Titans coming in a close 2nd.
--Phillip Rivers has a rough year and the Chargers will be a sub .500 team.
--The Seahawks and Bears get first round byes again rather easily...and both of them lose in the divisional round.
--Super Bowl XLI....... Broncos over Panthers

Since I am God at these, this is my prediction this year:
The Cowboys will sweep the Eagles this year.
-Due to their off-field and QB issues, the Bengals will struggle to a 7-win season
-Jake Delhomme will break his leg in Week 6 and the Panthers will win 4 more games from that point on with Weinke and LeFors splitting time.
-The Cardinals will surprise everybody by... sucking again.
-Kellen Clemens will win the Jets' starting job by Week 10 and doom Pennington's future in NY
-Antonio Cromartie will be the most surprisingly successful 1st round pick, intercepting 6 passes and scoring 2 defensive TDs
-Michael Vick will make the Pro Bowl on shitty stats for the second consecutive season

This one's the boldest one of them all. Cromartie's such a boom or bust player at this point--he definitely has the physical talent, but he's been out of football for so long that who knows how long it will take him to get acclimated, especially jumping into the pros.
-Philip Rivers has a sub par year, but the Chargers make the playoffs.
-Arizona finally gets over the hump & has a winning season but misses the playoffs. -Carson Palmer will start week 1 but the Bengals struggle in the first half of the season.
-Brad Johnson will have a good (not great) season statistically for the Vikes.
-The Dolphins will get off to a fast start and finish 11-5, & Ronnie Brown has a stellar year.
-Randy Moss will want out of Oakland before the season ends.
-Offensive ROY will be Joseph Addai, Defensive ROY will be Michael Huff.
-Peyton Manning finally wins a Superbowl.

they didn't get there last year, or the year before, or the year before. that's not gonna change.

Michael Vick rushes for 745 yards and 5 TD's and throws for 18. Vick completes 58% of his passes for 2500 yards and they win no less than 3 games on Fourth quarter comebacks orchestrated by Vick. The Falcons defense leads the league in sacks and Interceptions. The offense again leads the league in rushing but the attack becomes more balanced and they are in the top 5 of 3rd down conversions.
Brian Griese wins the starting job in Chicago.
Phillip Rivers is better than most people think and the Chargers make the playoffs.
The Jets pull down the #1 pick for next season followed by the Raiders
Jimmy Williams pulls down defensive ROY honors.
The RB from Memphis #1 pick by Carolina is the offensive ROY.

if Jim Haslett can shake the pussyness out of the Rams D that Larry assfucker Marmie instilled in them, then the Rams will be dangerous again and Seattle better watch out
this is of course only if Golden Boy Bulger can stay healthy. which should happen now that he has a head coach who thinks running more than 3 times a game is a nifty idea

no offense GH but thats the most ridiculous thing Ive ever heard.
The Rams still have a potent offense, which will finally have balance with Martz gone, and the D will improve a great deal under Jim Hasslett.
dead last in the NFL with Bulger/Bruce/Holt/Jackson? I think not pal.
I've been thinking about recanting the #1 overall due to the fact that the Rams have an easy schedule (hence the Titans comment), but I still think the Rams look really weak. Here are the problems I see:
--WR: You have Holt...and who else? Bruce used to be awesome but he's really past his prime. Can Curtis finally make the step up?
--O-line: The tackles are great, but the interior looks real spotty to me. Steven Jackson should be rushing for a lot more than he has, and this might the reason why he's struggling.
--Defense: They did have some good free agent signings (I like Witherspoon in particular), but it usually takes a while to adjust when you have that many new faces. We all thought the Vikes D would be better last year when they did a similar thing and they struggled. Same with the Chiefs. The D-line save Little looks real shaky. The secondary still looks horrid.

Willie Roaf and Will Shields are ollllllld. If either of them gets injured, the Chiefs are done, and LJ will have problems. They already lost Welbourn to "retirement", and they have very little depth on the O-line. The biological clock on the O is ticking loudly.
