They'll be introducing a new design next season it appears. I haven't read the article yet :oops:

Anyways...looks like this new ball will be just two strips of material, not eight.

didn't know either. Thanks.

In a somewhat related story. NFL officials will be wearing different outfits this year. I hear in the colder months they will be even switching to black pants.
