i thought it was really annoying when he got the draft pick in the 2006 NFL draft before the commish said it so on TV he would say it looks like the patriots wlil take maroney but we will go to the commish to see
and of course he was right every time
but he is rather creative assuming he comes up with most of the names
i like berman most of the time, he is much better than irvin and stuart scott, tom jackson is good also.
Note* thanks to NBC for ruining Primetime by putting that piece of crap on that they call "football night in america" what a shitty ass show that is. I thought i hated Bettis before , but those 4 asshole don't shut up. they really need to get Primetime back on before Sunday night football. Not at 11 at night.

Oh dear god, this is absolute worst. Once he ruined the AJ Hawk pick and then the Michael Huff pick I think, I muted the TV right at the time when he'd ruin it for future picks.
Someone else put it this way: "Chris, you're ruining the amazing aspect of a boring old man in a suit holding millions of diehard fans in suspense by walking to a podium."
However, I have too many fond childhood memories of Berman to dislike him. I know it'll be a slightly sad day when he finally signs off.

i think ley is the best for the simple fact, he doesnt overdramatize the highlight. he knows the show is about the updates and highlights, not himself
I've found myself watching FSN's "The Final Score" more than SportsCenter lately for this exact reason. The anchors realize the show is about the highlights, and not themselves (although one anchor is trying to be Keith Olberman...). They show more highlights of each game than the standard 2 or 3 highlights ESPN shows. It's a good show!
