great pitching performance tonight by both starters. greg maddox only throwing 68 pitches in 8 innings is ridiculous

I've been a Dodgers fan for a long time, but Maddux would be the only challenge for the Mets. Reyes, Wright, Beltran, Delgado, Lo Duca, and Floyd would take turns smacking the fuck out of the rest of the blue's pitching staff. There's no reason to believe otherwise.

to the amazement of the entire sports world, Mark Hendrickson allowed ONE stinking run, a major major miracle (as he had RISP in almost every single inning), and the Dodgers get shut out?

Penny goes today, good god I hope they win today and then I can take comfort in the fact that LA does not go back to Petco again this year.
