When is this guy going to realize a big part of the problem in St Louis is HIS DECISIONS.
Chris Chandler - Pick 6. nice. Why isn't he pulled after say #4?
PJGuy...I'm sure you are livid and wishing for a return of Kurt Warner, Oh yeah the Giants probably wish he was playing too, they might even be in the playoffs.
Spray and pray offense doesn't get it done when you're playing a solid defense.

you know I am a die hard Rams fan, so believe me when I say that 99.5% of us are praying for the day when MAd Mike gets the axe, but Georgia Frontiere is not about to make any buyouts or pay for a coach who isnt coaching, so we are stuck with this fuckhole for at least 2 more seasons.....
The talent on this 2004 Rams team was enough to be at least 11-5 and compete for the Super Bowl. But Martz and his buttboy Larry Marmie sucked the life and the hustle and the heart from this team. so instead the rams will be 6-10 this yr!
go dolphins!! oh wait, im equally as fucked there too huh!

I watched the game yesterday, and the one announcer was ripping on Martz with good reason. They ran the ball only 6 times in the first half, with their back up 40 year old qb in. That is ridiculous. That has to be the second worst coaching move of the season, behind Coughlin starting Eli. Mike Martz should have been fired after last season deciding to settle for the field goal against the Panthers. One of the worst coaches in the NFL because his ego is way to big.

some guys are just better off as coordinators.
Thats why i dont think Charlie Weiss will be good at Notre Dame at all. Especially because there is so much more to the college game with recruiting and such.

most college head coaches do very little recruiting. Their assistants do most of it. If Weiss hires a competent staff, that area of his job shouldn't be much of a concern. Even if he has to do some recruiting, his role in it won't be all that different from recruiting free agents and interviewing draft picks.

If the Vikings choke again and miss the playoffs, Tice's head will fly.
Well, his contract runs out Jan 31 and McCombs hasn't even approached him to discuss a renewal..so...
...yeah.
Being a Packers fan, I'm hoping Tice comes back.

I dunno, I'm not too impressed with Sherman, either. I have a feeling he's going to get a dose of reality when Favre retires.
similar to the dose of reality Holmgren has gotten in Seattle........

I agree with you...but Tice (and Martz for that matter) makes Sherman look like a genius. Sherman will be fine after his GM duties are taken away after the season. He's a good coach, but a shitty GM.

Yes, it may have been a case of a player making a coach. I was thankful for Favre after we barely beat the Lions yesterday. Favre was 19 for 24 (or close to that) in the second half with 42 mph winds swirling all over. Amazing.
