Yea, but we also turned his little punk ass out. He was never a factor in the game...hell their team was never a factor in the game for that matter.

The Steelers clearly dominated this game from the outset, and the scary thing is that it was a "off" day performance for Big Ben. Can you imagine what we would have done to them if he was "on"??

I think after this game there is no question as to who the top team in the NFL is.

Oh and Philly....great defensive effort from your supposedly vaunted D!!! Our offense controlled the ball for 3/4 of the game and we ran all over your ass when you had your eight and nine man fronts. How demoralizing that must be.

Peace,

J.

sweet game today... total dominance, and it looked for awhile like the honeymoon is over with TO and Donovan... factor in plaxico's fumble and the steelers kneeling with 2:48 to go, and it could have been even worse!

anyone have a picture (or a link) of hines ward touchdown celebration??

HERE WE GO STEELERS!!!!

I thought Big Ben was "on" sufficiently. When you sprint out to a 21-3 lead the goal turns into killing the clock, so that's why his numbers weren't as impressive as previous performances.

Definitly an "off" day for Big Ben...I'm from the burgh I know a thing or 2 here.

The steelers are the best team in the NFL and whoever says the bus is done clearly dosnt know their football. He has ALOT left in him and the only reason everyone thought he was done was he had 1 bad year and it was due to injury.

Ben Roethlisberger 2004-2005 Rookie of the Year. Nobody comes close to him, not even that wide reciever.

P.S. Eli Manning is a cry baby and I am so happy hes not starting for NYG.

Oh I agree with you Green Habit. It just wasn't one of his best starts, but that's to be expected when your facing a blitz happy Eagles defense and your a rookie QB. Overall he did really well on the day and I'm still completely impressed with this kids poise. Really he only had one mistake and it wasn't a costly one....and that is the key point, not to make costly mistakes.

Peace,

J.

Hell why stop there...lets go for the trifecta:

1. NFL Rookie Of The Year
2. NFL MVP
3. Super Bowl MVP

...and for an encore:

Pro-Bowl Baby!

Peace,

J.

Yeah, but flip that around. Those teams were supposed to be out of their league.

Unless it's an extreme weather kind of thing, home field advantage in the nfl is kinda overrated. They could have played those last two games anywhere and the result would be pretty much the same.

I'm not jumping on the "best in the nfl" bandwagon yet, but they way the steelers dominated the Pats and Eagles, where they played doesn't make much of a difference.

Home field in the NFL is kind of overrated? I can't think of what sport it could mean more. The Steelers obviosly are playing well but I would like to see what they would do on the road against these guys too. Either way, beating two undefeated teams in a row this late in the season is impressive. They are obviously the team to beat right now.

as it has been pointed out, both the eagles and pats, atleast by their fans, were supposed to crush pittsburgh and their rook.

a defense, that in two games, against the supposed cream of the crop teams in the NFL, allowed 23 rushing yards total. 23. yes thats right 23, now i know the pats were without corey and the iggles were without their starter, but even still, 23 yards allowed is in-fucking-credible.

most eagles fans around here have been saying since this years schedule came out that the birds would lose on the road to pitt. pitt is pretty much always competitive, and they looked good coming into this season, the play of rothlessberger has made them that much better. and the eagles have a history of losing to afc teams. i dunno who said the eagles were gonna crush pitt.
