Ok, I remember there being a thread somewhere about this I appologise if it's duplicate.

I have no ticket for Sunday's game, I was just going to go down early sunday morning and tailgate all day and try to scalp a ticket. Is 50 bucks a reasonable amount for me to take and expect to find one right before the game? I mean I do this with Pearl Jam tickets too and it usually works out great.

I'm looking for that season ticket holder that can't make it. I mean I'll sit in the 300 level if I have too, but I think I can find better.

Opinions? Thoughts?

I would expect it would depend completely on the city and the game. I'm assuming you're talking about the Falcons?

I don't think I could scalp a game day single for the Steelers for much less than $100, but I might try for the Saints game this year.

the steelers and the cowboys are the two hottest tickets in the league I think.

I was just going to go with a finite amount and if I couldn't find one by 12:45 or so, walk aroud the corner to Jocks and Jills and spend the dough on beer and wings.

like he said it depends ehere you are. just take a look at ebay to see the price range there first.
yeah you'd be able to get a ticket for 50 bucks but the seats will suck. this is just from my experiences with games in cleveland, if you want good seats you'll pay for it.

I think you'll be surprised what you can scare up for $50. Inside the last hour before kickoff people get pretty desperate to move their extras. I wouldn't worry, you'll probably get in.

(before anyone starts to flame me, my experiences are with Pats games, and that's a pretty tough ticket)

I paid $60 for two tickets to the Chiefs @ Dallas game last year. There were 20 more guys I could have bought tickets from as well.

You are so right man. I have went to every home game the last 6 years in Kansas City. Never with a ticket ahead of time. I paid $80 for 2 this past sunday. Face value was $73 a piece. I have done this at 13 different NFL stadiums. There is ALWAYS a ticket.

definately depends on what game you're seeing. not only where you are, but who that home team is playing as well.

For the game this past thursday, my tickets were $200 a piece, but then again, they were killer seats, 3 rows back behind the field goal post.

I just dropped $100 a piece for nosebleed seats for the Jaguars Steelers game this Monday night. I was willing to try to get them there, others were not....although I was looking for 4 together and would have been really pissed if I couldn't find 4 together down there after paying for flight/hotel.

If the game is in your hometown, I'd go down, see what u can find from what you're willing to pay--worst case scenario, you get shitcanned at a local bar watching the game with a ton of other fans!
