Why does it help the Yankees pitchers more? Schillings ankle was too sore to pich last night but it is fin to pitch today, you don't think an extra day would help the soreness more?

regarding schilling, an extra day ain't going to make a difference...if this were the regular season he'd be on the DL. he needs surgery and a few months to get back to 100%

it helps the yankees because i'd much rather face gordon + rivera 3 nights in a row than give them an extra day to rest and lick their wounds.
plus the sox finally have the momentum going and it benefits them to get right back out there (IMO)

With a day off, the bosox have a lot more game 7 options.

Nearly six hours?! Wow, probably a good thing we don't get any live games on regular TV here. Some little summaries would be nice though, we get shit. Checking the result on the internet sucks.

Go Red Sox!

is that from the movie The Deep?

Its the guys from Jaws

yeah
He was great that was his character Quint. But he was likewise kick ass in the movie the Deep. Jaqueline Bisset was so pretty, I am going to get in trouble for this but honestly she started the whole wet t-shirt thing.

i'm a big yankee fan, and i really think the rest is better for us if it rains otu tonight, this is why:

first. the NY bullpen is worse than bostons right now, and they need the rest. gordon has been terrible, and hes tired. and rivera needs the rest. and we could use loiza in game 7 if we need him for long relief - i do not trust vazquez, nor does torre.

second, boston has momentum. i'm actually quite scared.

third, right now if boston won tonight, we have who to start game 7? brown? vazquez? ummm....not good, at all. but if we get an extra day, we can bring back el duque on short rest if need be. and we would have some relievers rested too.

aside from mueller getting hit, 3 up and 3 down.

I've never said anything bad about him, but that's huge and I hope Derek Jeter's pretty little bitch head explodes after they blow this series.
